The website at https://heyrocket.com/ is owned and operated by Hey Rocket Pte Ltd ("Hey Rocket," "Company," "we," or "us"), registered and headquartered in Singapore.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set forth the legally binding terms governing your access and use of our website ("Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and confirm that you have the authority and legal capacity to accept them. You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use the Site. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use the Site.

Certain features of the Site may be subject to additional guidelines, terms, or rules, which will be clearly posted. These additional terms are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be handled in accordance with the laws of Singapore. See the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution section for full details.

1. User Submissions

By submitting your resume, job application, or other personal information to Hey Rocket through this Site, you acknowledge and agree that:

You provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information.
Hey Rocket may use your submitted information for recruitment purposes, including sharing it with potential employers.
Submission of a resume or application does not guarantee employment or job placement.
Hey Rocket is not responsible for any decisions made by employers regarding your application.
All personal data provided will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. Access to the Site

Subject to these Terms, Company grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to access the Site solely for your own personal, noncommercial use.

Certain Restrictions: The rights approved to you in these Terms are subject to the following restrictions: (a) you shall not sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, host, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site; (b) you shall not change, make derivative works of, disassemble, reverse compile or reverse engineer any part of the Site; (c) you shall not access the Site in order to build a similar or competitive website; and (d) except as expressly stated herein, no part of the Site may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means unless otherwise indicated, any future release, update, or other addition to functionality of the Site shall be subject to these Terms. Hey Rocket reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time, with or without notice. You agree that Hey Rocket shall not be liable for any changes, interruptions, or discontinuations of the Site.

No Support or Maintenance. You agree that Hey Rocket will have no obligation to provide you with any support in connection with the Site.

Excluding any User Content that you may provide, you are aware that all the intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, in the Site and its content are owned by Hey Rocket or its suppliers. Note that these Terms and access to the Site do not give you any rights, title or interest in or to any intellectual property rights, except for the limited access rights expressed in Section 2.1. Company and its suppliers reserve all rights not granted in these Terms.

3. User Content

You agree not to use the Site to upload, transmit, display, or distribute any content that:

Violates intellectual property, privacy, or proprietary rights of any third party.
Is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, misleading, or promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activity.
Contains explicit or offensive material, including but not limited to hate speech, threats, or harm to minors.

In addition, you agree not to:

Upload malicious software, spam, or any content intended to harm or disrupt the Site.
Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, its users, or its data.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect or manipulate Site data without authorization.
Interfere with the normal operation of the Site or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Hey Rocket reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. However, you remain fully responsible for any content you submit, and Hey Rocket assumes no liability for content shared by users.

We reserve the right to review any User Content, and to investigate and/or take appropriate action against you in our sole discretion if you violate the Acceptable Use Policy or any other provision of these Terms or otherwise create liability for us or any other person. Such action may include removing or modifying your User Content, terminating your Account in accordance with Section 8, and/or reporting you to law enforcement authorities.

If you provide Company with any feedback or suggestions regarding the Site, you hereby assign to Company all rights in such Feedback and agree that Company shall have the right to use and fully exploit such Feedback and related information in any manner it believes appropriate. Company will treat any Feedback you provide to Company as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

4. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hey Rocket, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of the Site.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Any content you submit, upload, or share through the Site.

Hey Rocket reserves the right to take full control of the legal defense of any claim covered under this indemnification. You agree to cooperate fully in such a defense.

5. Third-Party Links & Ads; Other Users

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or display advertisements from external companies. These third-party sites and ads are not under our control, and Hey Rocket is not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy policies, or practices.

Clicking on any third-party link or advertisement is at your own discretion, and you should review their terms and privacy policies before engaging with them. Hey Rocket does not endorse, warrant, or assume any responsibility for products, services, or content provided by third parties.

Other Users. Each Site user is solely responsible for any and all of its own User Content. Because we do not control User Content, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any User Content, whether provided by you or by others. You agree that Hey Rocket will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as the result of any such interactions. If there is a dispute between you and any Site user, we are under no obligation to become involved.

You hereby release and forever discharge the Company and our officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from, and hereby waive and relinquish, each and every past, present and future dispute, claim, controversy, demand, right, obligation, liability, action and cause of action of every kind and nature, that has arisen or arises directly or indirectly out of, or that relates directly or indirectly to, the Site.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis, and the Company and our suppliers expressly disclaim all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, or non-infringement. We and our suppliers make no guarantee that the Site will meet your requirements, or that the Site will be available uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, accurate, reliable, free of viruses or harmful components, complete, legal, or safe. If applicable law requires any warranties with respect to the Site, all such warranties are limited in duration to ninety (90) days from the date of first use.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. Some jurisdictions also do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

7. Limitation on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hey Rocket and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.

Access to and use of the Site is at your own discretion and risk. Hey Rocket shall not be responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, or any other harm resulting from your access or use of the Site.
In any case, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Hey Rocket’s total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for accessing this Site, or SGD $50, whichever is lower.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

8. Term and Termination.

These Terms remain in effect while you access and use the Site. Hey Rocket reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, at our sole discretion, if:

You violate these Terms or any applicable laws.
Your actions disrupt the operation of the Site or infringe on the rights of others.
We discontinue the Site or any part of its services.

Upon termination, your access to the Site will be revoked immediately. Any data or submissions you provided may no longer be accessible. Hey Rocket shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from the termination of access.

The termination of these Terms does not affect any rights or obligations that have already accrued prior to termination. Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Disclaimers, Indemnification, and Governing Law shall survive termination.

9. Copyright Policy

Company respects the intellectual property of others and asks that users of our Site do the same. In connection with our Site, we have adopted and implemented a policy respecting copyright law that provides for the removal of any infringing materials and for the termination of users of our online Site who are repeated infringers of intellectual property rights, including copyrights.

If you believe that one of our users is infringing on copyrighted content through our Site, you may submit a copyright complaint to our designated Copyright Agent with the following details:

your physical or electronic signature;
identification of the copyrighted work(s) that you claim to have been infringed;
identification of the material on our services that you claim is infringing and that you request us to remove;
sufficient information to permit us to locate such material;
your address, telephone number, and e-mail address;
a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the objectionable material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or under the law; and
a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are either the owner of the copyright that has allegedly been infringed or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Hey Rocket respects intellectual property rights and will take appropriate action against infringing content in accordance with applicable copyright laws in Singapore and Malaysia.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Hey Rocket complies with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data.

11. General

These Terms are subject to occasional revision, and if we make any substantial changes, we may notify you by sending you an e-mail to the last e-mail address you provided to us and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on our Site. You are responsible for providing us with your most current e-mail address. In the event that the last e-mail address that you have provided us is not valid our dispatch of the e-mail containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice. Any changes to these Terms will be effective upon the earliest of thirty (30) calendar days following our dispatch of an e-mail notice to you or thirty (30) calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on our Site. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of our Site. Continued use of our Site following notice of such changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
- These Terms of Use shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. In the event of any dispute, controversy, claim, or difference arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, the parties agree to first attempt amicable settlement through mutual discussion. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within thirty (30) days from the date it arose, then the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Electronic Communications
- By using this Site, you consent to receive all communications from Hey Rocket electronically, including emails, notices, agreements, and disclosures. You acknowledge that such electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
- Hey Rocket may send you service-related notices, promotional materials, or legal updates via email or by posting them on the Site. You agree that it is your responsibility to provide and maintain an up-to-date email address for receiving these communications.
- If you do not wish to receive certain types of communications, you may opt out as permitted by our Privacy Policy.

Entire Terms. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Site. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. The word “including” means “including without limitation”. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions of these Terms will be unimpaired and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law. Your relationship to Company is that of an independent contractor, and neither party is an agent or partner of the other. These Terms, and your rights and obligations herein, may not be assigned, subcontracted, delegated, or otherwise transferred by you without Hey Rocket’s prior written consent, and any attempted assignment, subcontract, delegation, or transfer in violation of the foregoing will be null and void. Company may freely assign these Terms. The terms and conditions set forth in these Terms shall be binding upon assignees.
